Free Entry to Leeds Festival Or Reading Festival

Just got this via email from the Mean Fiddler Group:

http://www.meanfiddler.com/displayPa...=3165&URLID=67

Gain free entrance to this for this summer's completely sold out Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals by joining our Campsite Assistant Teams.

Festival organisers, Mean Fiddler, are looking for volunteers to be the 'eyes and ears' of the festival campsites in the form of Campsite Assistant Teams, or CATs.

Typical duties may include:

• Aiding festival goes with directions
• Helping festival goers put up their tents
• Reporting back on any antisocial behaviour
• Reporting back on any build up of litter
• Checking facilities to see if they need servicing or cleaning i.e. water points and toilets

At no time are we expecting you to compromise your personal safety or become involved in any confrontational situations. We would simply like you to report to us everything you see and hear. In addition, we really want to build on the work we did in 2003, 2004 and 2005 to make our campsites friendlier whilst creating a good atmosphere. By you being there helping people, you will help us achieve this.

If your application is successful you will gain a FREE CREW PASS to either Reading or Leeds, which will include camping facilities in a secure crew area with its own toilets, showers, crew catering and bar!

Applicants will need to be 18 or over and will need to arrive at the Reading or Leeds sites by 9pm at the latest on the Wednesday 23rd August for a briefing.

CATs must be available to work three 8 hour shifts at any time between 2pm Wednesday 23rd August and midday Monday 28th (last CAT shift ends at midday on Monday).

We request that all volunteers work one night shift – although this isn’t a requirement. The rest of the time you are free to enjoy the festival.

For Leeds we are seeking 205 volunteers and for Reading we require 145.

-----------------------------------

Not 100% free as you need to work for 3 8 hour shifts, its not bad if you didnt manage to get a ticket though!
